Nestled in the heart of Pemberton, 3 Nights of accommodation is included in this workshop at our AirBnB (click link to see accommodation) The house is adjacent to the clay studio and provides a comfortable and inviting home base for your creative retreat.
This pottery workshop is designed for beginners eager to explore the world of ceramics. You will learn all the basics of working with clay, beginner wheel-throwing techniques and will be creating your own functional pieces.
Together we will also be exploring the primitive clay firing technique of Naked Raku. With a provided bisque fired clay vessel as your canvas, you will use clay slips and resists to form patterns of smoke during the Raku firing process. Creating a unique one of a kind three dimensional piece of art to take home.
After each day of creative exploration, unwind in the serene surroundings, have a hot tub or simply relax on the patio.
