- For those who are new to the art of clay, I will have already bisque-fired pottery pieces for you to choose from to use for the firing. For the more seasoned potter that will be firing their own pieces, please see the specifications in the footnote to ensure that your clay body meets the requirements for the Naked Raku firing.

- Evening - Free time to explore, have a Hot Tub or simply relax on the patio with a glass of wine
- Day 2: Naked Raku Firing Experience
- Relaxing start to the day
- 10-1PM Studio time
- We will use a small Gas kiln to fire our pieces in very small batches. Once the pieces are red hot in the kiln, it is transferred to a reduction chamber filled with combustible materials such as sawdust and newspaper. The combustible materials ignite upon contact with the hot pottery, creating a reduction atmosphere by consuming the available oxygen. This process affects the exposed areas of the pottery, creating beautiful smoke patterns
- Once the pottery has cooled, any remaining slip or resist material is cleaned off, revealing the final Naked Raku design.
- 3-6PM Studio will be open for exploration for those who would like to get a little dirty with clay and learn basic techniques.
- Evening - Free time
- Day 3

- Should the minimum amout of participants (4) not be reached within a week of the start date, the workshop will be cancelled and you will receive a full refund.
